5 Super Foods To Reverse Type 2 Diabetes

Are you a diabetic? Are you tired of having to always do blood sugar readings and other drug regiments? I have a friend who was a type 2 diabetic and I am excited to tell you how he reversed his diabetes.  God is our miracle worker and Ultimate Healer! But God allowed my friend to research, change his diet and reverse his type 2 diabetes with natural alternatives.

My friend discovered that the root cause of type 2 diabetes was INFLAMMATION! and by treating his blood pressure with drugs, and injecting insulin to combat insulin sensitivity,
(he never really had to use insulin. Thank you Lord!), was not treating the root cause of his type 2 diabetes, only the symptoms.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a doctor.  Always consult you Physician before getting off of any medications you might be on for diabetes and before taking natural alternatives or supplements.

Long story short.  My friend do not take any more medications to treat the symptoms of diabetes.  He simply changed his eating habits and as a result, saved his life and no longer has to deal with the dreadful symptoms of type 2 diabetes.

I have not only experienced my friend being able to reverse his type 2 diabetes, but several other people as well.  Type 2 diabetes can be reversed!

5 Super foods to reverse Type 2 Diabetes

Super foods, essential oils, spices found in your pantry, clean eating recipes and other natural alternatives have been proven to reverse type 2 diabetes. Here is a list to start:

1.  Blueberries and other berries

Berries have the highest amounts of antioxidants of most other fruits and vegetables and may reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer.  My friend ate many strawberries, raspberries and his share of blackberries.  These are all very good for persons with type 2 diabetes.

2.  Wild Salmon with other Omega 3-Fatty Fish

Wild Salmon has plenty of Omega-3 fatty acid, which is also rich in selenium.  Selenium is good for hair, nails skin and bones. Further, it has been shown to lower the risk of heart disease in people with type 2 diabetes.  Other fish includes herring, mackerel, and sardines.

No need to worry over how many carbs you have to watch and be mindful of because fish don't contain carbs. (Yeah), right? Fish oil is an awesome source of omega-3 fatty acids.   Always consult your doctor before taking any supplements.

3. Walnuts, Flaxseeds and other nuts

Walnuts, flaxseeds, and other nuts contains fiber, magnesium and plenty of omega-3 fatty acids.  That's all the good fat that is safe to eat all which, boost healthy heart and lowers cholesterol.

4. Leafy green vegetable (kale)

Kale is one of the most nutritous green vegetables on the planet! Loaded with vitamin A and K.
Collard greens are also loaded with plenty of nutrients our bodies needs and potassium that's that has been proven to manage blood pressure, which is great for type 2 diabetics.

5. Whole Grains: Barley and lentils

Whole grains contains plenty of antioxidants, soluble and insoluble fiber which helps to metabolize fats, which aids the digestive track and keeps it healthy.

Research has shown that people who eat barley hulls on a regular basis has lower blood cholesterol.  This grain also keeps the blood sugar levels stable.

Lentils are most important in the diet of a diabetic because of the low glycemic index (GI) which is the measurement of food's impact on blood sugar. Lentils are loaded with B vitamins, iron, protein and complex carbohydrates, which are great for a diabetic's diet.
